Unleash the power of 3D to create highly realistic water reflections in Photoshop. Learn how to use the amazing 3D features of Photoshop and create a reflecting surface in actual three-dimensional space to mimic the properties of water and add shine & ripples.

This is a completely new approach where we will actually try to replicate the total atmospheric real life properties, such as converting the land and the sky to an illuminating surface (light) for it to be naturally reflected from the reflecting surface we will create.

Using this technique you will have more control over the behavior of the water. Whether you want to add ripples or make the water completely calm, all can be customized just by moving the sliders in 3D properties. Hope this video helps you!
